5. Who we share data with

5.1

We never sell your data.

5.2

We work with a few carefully chosen service providers. They process data only on our instructions:

  • hosting of our website and systems;
  • our database (stored in the EU, in Frankfurt);
  • an AI service that writes and assesses texts. It only receives information about the webshop, never data about buyers;
  • a service that sends emails;
  • a service for search results. It only receives search terms, no personal data;
  • a service for fonts on our website.
5.3

Some of these service providers are based outside the EU, mainly in the United States. We only work with parties that follow the legal safeguards of the EU, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

5.4

If the law obliges us to, we pass data on to authorities such as the tax administration.

6. Cookies

6.1

We use cookies that are necessary to log in to the client portal. These expire after 7 days.

6.2

The sign-up form temporarily stores your input in your browser so that you do not lose anything. This is cleared as soon as you submit the form.

6.3

We remember your choice in the cookie notice for six months in your browser's storage, under the name aiseo_consent. After that, we ask again. This storage is functional and does not send anything to us.

6.4

If you select a language on a login screen, we remember it in the cookie aiseo_lang, so you do not have to choose again next time. It contains only a language code, no data about you.

6.5

For the cookies in 6.1 through 6.4 we do not need to ask for consent: without these cookies the site does not work.

6.6

We use Google Analytics to see how visitors use our site: which pages are viewed, for how long, and through which channel someone arrives. This happens ONLY if you have clicked Accept. If you click Decline, or have not yet made a choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no Google cookies are placed.

6.7

Within Google Analytics the advertising features are disabled. We do not use Google Signals, no advertising profiles, and no remarketing. Google retains this data for a maximum of 14 months.

6.8

You can withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. If you choose Decline there, we remove the Google Analytics cookies and measurement stops immediately.

6.9

In addition, we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for visitor counts and load times. These measure anonymously, place no cookies, and do not track you across websites. No consent is required for these and we therefore do not turn them off or on.

6.10

On aiseopages.eu, our own portal and management environment, we measure nothing at all.

7. Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections, restricted access and logging in with a personal account.

8. Your rights

8.1

You have the right to:

  • see your data;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • have your data transferred;
  • object, for example to emails from us;
  • have the use of your data restricted.
8.2

Email your request to info@aiseopages.com. We respond within one month.

8.3

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). Of course we would like to hear it from you first.

9. Data from Google (Search Console and Google Analytics)

9.1

As a customer you can connect your Google account to AISEOPages, on the Connection page in the customer portal. This article is about the data we then receive from Google. It is separate from Google Analytics on our own website (article 6).

9.2

We only ask for read access: the email address of your Google account and Search Console (read only). We do not change anything in your Google account or in Search Console, and we do not submit anything on your behalf. The "Request indexing" button you see with us only opens Search Console; you click there yourself.

9.3

What we retrieve:

  • the email address of your Google account, so you can see which account is connected;
  • from Search Console, the list of your properties, so the property of your website can be chosen. We only keep which property was chosen;
  • from Search Console, only for the pages we published for you: clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position per day, also per search query. The first time for the last 90 days, after that each time for the last 7 days;
  • from Search Console, the index status of those same pages: whether Google has indexed them, when Google last visited them, which version Google sees as the main version, and the link to that check in Search Console;
  • from Search Console, the list of your sitemaps. We only keep the number of sitemaps.

Google Analytics is a separate, optional connection. Only if you click Connect Google Analytics yourself do we read visit figures from your Analytics property: the number of visits per day, how many of them came through AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot, Gemini and Claude, on which of the pages we created for you those visitors arrived and, if you measure purchases in Analytics, the number of purchases and the revenue of those visits. These are aggregated figures: we do not retrieve data about individual visitors. We only ask for read access and change nothing in Google Analytics. We keep visit figures from Google Analytics for at most 12 months; older figures are deleted automatically. You can disconnect at any time, on the Connection page: we then delete these figures and the key on our side. You can also withdraw the permission itself in your Google account. What this article says elsewhere about use, security and sharing also applies to these figures.

9.4

What we use this data for:

  • to show you in the customer portal how our pages perform in Google;
  • to measure whether Google has indexed our pages;
  • so that you and we can see which pages need attention and can be improved.
9.5

We do not use data from Google for advertising, for profiling, or for anything other than our service to you.

9.6

The key that lets us read from Google (the refresh token) is stored encrypted (AES-256). We do not store the short-lived access key, and keys never appear in log files. The retrieved data is stored in our database in the EU (Frankfurt). Only you, in your customer portal, and our own staff, to provide the service and help you, can see it.

9.7

We never sell data from Google and do not share it with anyone, except with our service providers for hosting and for our database (article 5.2). They only process it on our instructions. Data from Google is not sent to the AI service, the email service or the search results service.

9.8

We do not send data from Google to any AI service and never use it to train AI models.

9.9

You can revoke access at any time: with the Disconnect button on the Connection page in the customer portal, or in your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

9.10

What happens when you disconnect:

  • we delete the stored key immediately and retrieve nothing after that;
  • we also revoke the permission at Google. Exception: if the same Google account is also connected to another of your shops with us, the permission at Google stays in place for that other shop and we only disconnect this shop;
  • we immediately delete the email address of the connected Google account, the chosen property and all figures and index status we had retrieved from Google;
  • what remains: that there was a connection and when, and per page the outcome of our indexing check (indexed yes or no). We keep that up to date with our own check from then on.
9.11

If you revoke the permission in your Google account, we notice the next time we retrieve data. We then delete the key, the email address and all retrieved figures and index status, just as when you disconnect.

9.12

We keep the retrieved figures while the connection is active. After disconnecting they are deleted immediately (9.10). If your account is deleted, we disconnect first and all data from Google is deleted with it. Questions? Email info@aiseopages.com.

9.13

AISEOPages' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

10. Changes

We may change this statement. The latest version is always on our website, with the date at the top. We let customers know about important changes by email.
